A 41-year-old man turned himself into Valemount RCMP on Monday after allegedly assaulting at 61-year-old woman in her home.
RCMP were called to the scene, a 1000-block 14th Ave. home, at about noon and the man turned himself in at about 2:30 p.m. the same day.
The suspect, who has been remanded into custody, and the victim knew each other.
