A Surrey man was sentenced Friday to three years in jail for an armed robbery he committed just three days earlier.
Andrew Christopher Chapman, 26, was issued the term in Prince George provincial court.
He was arrested shortly after Prince George RCMP were called Tuesday at 9:20 p.m. to a report of an armed robbery at a gas station in the 800 block of Central Street West.
Chapman allegedly brandished a knife when he made the holdup and fled on foot with two packs of cigarettes and two lighters. No one was injured.
