The KG Corner convenience store on 15th Avenue just west of Central was the scene of an armed robbery early Saturday morning.
Police said they were called to the store and gas station at 4:30 a.m. where a the clerk said a slim Caucasian male in his early 20s and carrying a knife demand money from the till.
He was dressed entirely in black and his face covered in a black scarf.
A dog was brought in who led police to a nearby apartment block before the track was lost.
