If you’re a regular to the Prince George Aquatic Centre on weekend, you may want to take note of a slight change in hours.

The 2019 Prince George Iceman marathon is being held in the city on Sunday, which means the swimming pool will be closed to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The 32nd annual race itself starts 10 a.m. at the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club, but finishes at the Aquatic Centre as the final leg is an 800-metre swim.

While this is taking place, visitors can still use the leisure pool, hot tub, steam room, and the fitness centre.

Any scheduled swimming lessons that day are being moved to the Four Seasons Pool on Dominion Street.
