If ants are bugging you, it might come as a surprise that several types of ants in B.C. are in need of conservation rather than eradication. Assistant Professor Robert Higgins of Thompson Rivers University will discuss their ecology and biodiversity in British Columbia with some comparisons to the ants of the jungles of Borneo, where he worked in the summer of 2010. The outdoor talk begins at 7 p.m. tonight at the Milburn Community Garden at 1540 Milburn Avenue.
