Antique appraiser Peter Blundell will be providing his services at the Quesnel Arts and Recreation Centre during the April 24, 25 weekend, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The appraisals are divided into 15-minute or half-hour sessions, which may include three or six items. The charge for recreation pass holders is $35 for 15 minutes or $70 for 30 minutes; for those without a pass, the cost is $42 and $84.
A renowned independent appraiser and authority on art and antiques, Blundell, has written three books on antiques and is a graduate of the International Society of Appraisers.
Blundell appraises a wide variety of items, including art, furniture, glass, silver, china, collectibles and books. He does not appraise coins, stamps, jewelry, guns or antiques 400 years of age or older.
Appraisals take place in the Art Centre Lounge at 500 North Star Road. Vendor tables in the lobby are also available.
