A northern B.C HST-fight organizer says he holds out little hope the B.C. Liberals will repeal the harmonized tax, even as the courts recently cleared the way for the matter to go to a B.C. legislative committee.
It's why Mike Summers says he is already taking steps to organize a recall effort of Nechako Lakes Liberal MLA John Rustad. Summers is targeting a recall in the new year if there's enough support. "I can get the signatures, it's just a matter of whether there's enough support to collect them," said Summers, who lives in Vanderhoof west of Prince George.
