Today is anti-bullying day and the Prince George Urban Aboriginal Justice Society will bring their Youth In Harmony project to the Ramada, where 300 youth, 15 years old and younger, will gather to get the message to end violence among youth, adults and within the Prince George community.

The event goes from 9 a.m. to noon and includes a performance from musician Joel West from Burns Lake and Kym Gouchie from the Lheidli T'enneh Nation, followed by motivational speeches and a flash mob.

The society, in partnership with the Prince George Regional Correction Centre, will present School District 57 with two buddy benches for local elementary school playgrounds.

The project is funded by the National RCMP Family Violence Initiative and is in collaboration with School District 57 Aboriginal Education, the Justice Education Society and the RCMP Community Policing Team.
