The Ancient Forest will stay closed for construction for at least two more weeks.
Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure warned drivers Friday morning that there would be more closures of the parking lot and trail, but that Chun T'oh Whudujut Park would be open on weekends.
The province is working on parking lot upgrades and the highway near the entrance of the Ancient Forest as part of its $1-million improvements for the facility, designated a provincial park in March.
The new closures are Sept. 26 to 30 and Oct. 3 to 7.
