The B.C. and Yukon divisions of the Arthritis Society is offering two programs in Prince George in October.
The arthritis self-management program trains people to learn how to help others live well with arthritis, learn to be an effective facilitator. Training is free and includes meals, running from Friday Oct. 1 to Sunday Oct. 3.
Space for this program is limited.
The second program is on osteoarthritis early intervention, and is led by health professionals.
It's helping people take charge of osteoarthritis in order to slow the disease process, protect joints and help people understand and manage chronic pain.
This program costs $40 and runs on Oct. 5, 12, 19 and 26.
