Prince George Fire Rescue limited damage from a blaze that broke out at a 400-block Alward Street home to about $3,000.
Called to the scene at 8 p.m. on Friday, firefighters contained the fire to the home's siding and a couple of windows.
All six occupants escaped without injury .
