A man accused of trying to steal a tandem trailer from a local business made an appearance in Prince George provincial court on Wednesday.
Robert G Lang, 48, of Pink Mountain, B.C. faces charges of theft over $5,000 and possession of stolen property over $5,000.
Lang was arrested on July 1 after two employees from Curtis Elite witnessed two males making off with the trailer from a compound in the 9100 block of National Place and called police.
RCMP soon came upon a Ford 150 pulling the stolen trailer at the Shell gas station on Highway 97 South.
Lang, who made a first appearance on July 2, is schedule to next appear on Aug. 18 to elect counsel.
