It's your last chance to hear from all the candidates in both Prince George ridings at an all-candidates forum tonight.
The event, co-sponsored by The Citizen, CKPG, the Prince George Chamber of Commerce, the B.C. Northern Real Estate Board and UNBC will be held at the Canfor Theatre at UNBC from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Each candidate will make their own introductory comments.
They will then be expected to answer two questions before the floor is opened up for comments and discussion.
Topics will include: natural resources, indigenous peoples, economic growth versus spending, healthcare, education infrastructure and small business.
The candidates for Prince George-Mackenzie are:
Mike Morris, Liberal.
Bobby Deepak, NDP.
Hilary Crowley, Green.
The candidates for Prince George-Valmount are:
Shirley Bond, Liberal.
Natalie Fletcher, NDP.
Nan Kendy, Green.
The event will be moderated by UNBC political science professor Gary Wilson.
The provincial election is set for May 9.
Advance voting resumes Wednesday and runs through Saturday.
In Prince George-Mackenzie, early voting is available at Christ Our Saviour, Eagles Hall and Zion Lutheran Church, 180 S. Tabor Blvd.
For Prince George-Valemount, local voters can cast a ballot at the Elder Citizens Rec Centre, Our Saviour's Lutheran Church and Columbus Community Centre (Wednesday-Friday only).
All venues will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Residents can vote on any day leading up to May 9 at any electoral district office.
The office for Prince George-Mackenzie is at 1511 Lyon St. S., and the office for Prince George-Valemount is 401-1777 Third Ave.
They're open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on advanced voting days.
