The Prince George Airport has earned WorldHost status for customer service excellence.
The WorldHost training program offered by the Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Innovation is a global leader in customer service training.
Delegates from the ministry and Tourism Prince George will make a presentation to the airport today at 11:45 a.m.
The Prince George Airport staff took part in the program in April and is the first airport in the province to achieve WorldHost accreditation.
The WorldHost program features a series of workshops aimed at teaching effective communication, attentiveness to customer needs, problem solving and customer service leadership.
