Go outside and breathe a sigh of relief... as well as fresh air.
Environment Canada has ended its special air quality statement for Prince George.
This comes after almost five days of 'local smoke' above our heads as weather conditions have continued to improve.
The advisory was officially lifted at 1:01 p.m. today (May 29) and began on Saturday (May 25) at 12:25 p.m.
Some minor 20 km/h winds have also helped the cause blowing the smoke northwest of the city.
