Environment Canada has issued a Special air quality as of Saturday (May 25) at 12:25 p.m.
"Persons in or near this area should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions. Watch for updated statements," the statement reads.
As of 1 p.m., the BC Air Quality Index was listed at a three (Low Health Risk). The forecast for later today, tonight and tomorrow is a four (Moderate Health Risk).
