Environment Canada called off an air quality advisory Thursday afternoon.
It had been put in place on Tuesday as wildfire smoke settled over the city. Advisories remain in place for the southern portion of the province where wildfire smoke continued to dominate the sky.
Following a long spell of unseasonably warm weather in Prince George, temperatures are expected to fall to levels typical for this time of year.
Clouds are to move in over the weekend and be followed by chances of rain and flurries early next week, according to an Environment Canada forecast.
