Rosenau Transport will have a new home at the Prince George Airport in November.

On Tuesday morning, the company was announced as the new anchor tenant for the airport's 25,000 square foot cargo warehouse facility, currently under construction on the north end of the main runway off Boeing Road.

Having a well-known, established trucking agency on site "bodes well for the airport as we move our cargo program forward," said Prince George Airport Authority president and CEO John Gibson.

Rosenau will lease 15,000 square feet of the $5.5 million facility that features 11 truck dock doors, three ground-level doors and one ramp accessible door.

"Access to air and Boundary Road played a key factor in moving to this location," said Rosenau's director of operations Ken Rosenau. "With our strong service area, we feel that the partnership with the PGAA is another opportunity for Rosenau Transport to have stronger footprint in northern B.C., and with the PGAA by our side, we fill this will be a very successful partnership that will flourish for years to come."
