An driving advisory remains in place for Highway 16 West from 40 km west of Terrace to the Port Edward turnoff, which has been reduced to single-lane alternating due to debris on the road.
The stretch had been closed outright due to avalanche danger but was reopened by noon Monday.
An advisory issued late Monday afternoon for Highway 16 East from Purden to McBride due to limited visibility blowing snow has since been lifted, according to the Drive BC website.
