Voter turnout is down significantly so far this election.

Over the first two days of advanced voting, 1,377 ballots were cast in Prince George-Mackenzie and 1,650 in Prince George-Valemount, compared to 2,257 and 1,934 respectively by the same points in the 2013 campaign, according to Elections BC.

There are 32,354 registered voters in Prince George-Mackenzie, down marginally from 32,877 in 2013 and 33,449 in Prince George-Valemount, down from 34,877.

A second round of advanced voting opportunities began Wednesday and continue through to Saturday.

For Prince George-Mackenzie, they're at Christ Our Saviour, Eagles Hall and Zion Lutheran Church, 180 S. Tabor Blvd.

For Prince George-Valemount, they will be at Elder Citizens Rec Centre, Our Saviour's Lutheran Church for all four days, and Columbus Community Centre, 7201 Domano Blvd., through to Friday.

All venues will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

You can cast your ballot on any day leading up to the general voting day on Tuesday at any district electoral office. The office for Prince George-Mackenzie is at 1511 Lyon St. S., and the office for Prince George-Valemount is 401-1777 Third Ave., two floors up from The Citizen offices.

They're open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on the advanced voting days, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
