The Salvation Army's annual adopt-a-family program is short of sponsors.
Going into its final push, the church and charity organization has 103 sponsors matched but 113 families already registered and more are expected. Last year, there were 195 sponsors and families by the end of the campaign.
Sponsors - families, individuals and businesses - commit to putting together a Christmas package of new items and providing them anonymously to a family in need. The deadline to participate is two weeks away.
