Active cases of COVID-19 remain on a downward trend.
From a peak of 1,582 last Thursday, the total has since declined to 1,566 as of Wednesday, numbers from the B.C. Centre for Disease Control are showing.
Hospitalizations held steady at 33 with eight in intensive care, down three from a week ago.
There were no new deaths while 168 new cases were reported.
However, 21 deaths were reported province-wide, the largest single-day total for B.C. in more than a year.
