Gale Riding of Prince George wanted to give something back to the B.C. Children's Hospital after her daughter received such good care during eye surgery.
So she decided to publish a book she had written for her own children in hopes of raising funds.
Her paperback children's book, called Mylo Is Not So Different After All, is written in rhyme and illustrated by local artist Marc LeBlanc. It tells the story of a stuffed green moose that was different from all the other stuffed animals at the local fall fair where it was won by a family member.
