More than 6,000 people of all ages in Third World countries will see life more clearly with eyeglasses donated by two northern Lions clubs.
Prince George Central Lions and Quesnel Lions have shipped about 33 cartons containing about 200 pairs each or about 6,000 pairs of glasses collected in the two communities.
"They are all good glasses of all shapes and sizes which have come from 11 optometry and vision clinics in Prince George and five in Quesnel," said Mac MacDonald, president of the Central Lions Club.
