A classic for Father's Day

The 38th annual Cruisin' Classics Show and Shine at Fort George Park goes Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The 38th annual Cruisin' Classics Show and Shine at Fort George Park goes Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

More than 400 participants are expected to bring their vehicles to the park, including classic, vintage, and hot rod cars, along with about 40 motorcycles.

More than 10,000 people attend the free event each year.

For a $2 donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of B.C. and the Yukon, visitors can buy a ballot and pick the People's Choice trophy winner. There will be 16 trophies presented throughout the day. Several prizes will be given away to those who make a donation.

The pancake breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. There will be food vendors on site and live entertainment provided by The Elastic Band begins at noon.
