The faculty association at CNC has served the college with 72-hour strike notice.
The two sides have been negotiating for a new collective bargaining agreement under the Province’s Shared Recovery Mandate for the past several months, using a mediator from the Labour Relations Board.
The nearly 550 members of the faculty association will be in a legal strike position on the afternoon of Sunday, Oct. 8.
The college and the faculty association are scheduled to continue bargaining with the mediator.
If changes in services take place in the days to come, the College will provide updates on the website at www.cnc.bc.ca.
