A three-month undercover drug operation by RCMP in Dawson Creek has resulted in the arrest of 11 people.
The operation, called EPLOVER, stemmed from a police and community consultation in which drug trafficking was was identified as a priority for the RCMP who began the undercover operation to target street-level cocaine traffickers.
Two search warrants were executed on crack shacks in the downtown core and arrests were made. Three females and eight males face a total of 32 criminal charges ranging from trafficking in cocaine to failing to comply with probation or bail conditions. The accused will appear in court on Jan. 4.
