Where the Wild Things Are has been held over.
More precisely, the children's play has been held within.
The show was created by a touring arm of Presentation House Theatre Company from the Lower Mainland. It was brought to Prince George by Theatre North West and opened on Wednesday.
Most of the performances were reserved for schools bringing bus loads of students, but some public shows were also on offer.
The original schedule had public performances on May 27 at 7 p.m., and May 28 at 11 a.m.
These are still in the plan, and despite being mostly sold out, some seats have been coming available so fans are encouraged to check the TNW website for possible availability.
On Thursday, TNW artistic director Jack Grinhaus announced that due to the overwhelming demand, two new shows had been added.
Those opportunities are set for May 25 at 10 a.m. and May 26 at noon.
Anyone interested in seeing this interactive stage version of the classic Maurice Sendak story is encouraged to visit the TNW website or ask at the Books & Company front desk.
