Theatre North West presents I, Claudia until Oct. 16. The opening season play finds Claudia a 12 -year-old girl in her secret hide away at her elementary school dealing with her dad, her step-mom and her own life. This comedy has won two Canadian Comedy Awards, a Gemini, an ACTRA award, Sterling Award and two Dora Awards. The play is presented every night except Mondays. Top off the week with a coffee, friends and some live music at Cafe Voltaire every Friday night with a different local musician providing free live entertainment at 1685 Third Avenue. As always there is no cover charge for this event. For more information call 250-563-6637.

The Prince George Community Radio Society and 93.1 CFIS-FM present Boomer's Lounge 3 at 7 p.m. Saturday at ArtSpace. This is the third edition of the fundraising concert series, which includes performances from station volunteers. Singer/songwriter Scott LaPointe and vocalist Jol Kress will be performing as a duo for the first time. The Bel Canto choir will showcase their talent and Willie Kuklis who is a singer/songwriter will also appear. Tickets are at Studio 2880.

The Vancouver Aquarium's Aqua Van is coming to Exploration Place Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. General public, adults $10, students/seniors $8, museum members adults $8, students/seniors $6.

The 20th Annual Antiques & Collectables Fair will take place Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Roll-A-Dome. Admission is $4 adult, $3 seniors/students, children under 10 free, and a weekend pass is $6. For more information call Margi at 250-563-1507 or Anna at 250-562-0860.

The Prince George Farmer's Market is open every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the corner of Third Avenue and George Street right in front of the Courthouse, and the indoor market is across the street. There are local vendors selling meat, produce, arts and crafts, jewelry and much more.

Connie Kaldor is a Juno award winning artist who has sung for royalty (Joni Mitchell, the Queen) and is a member of the Order of Canada. Kaldor will be performing Oct. 4 and 5 at ArtSpace.
