The Cowboy Way, a walk on the Western side, is featured at the Groop Gallery, 1127 Third Ave., starting with an opening night reception tonight, featuring an artist's talk with Lesley White at 7:30 p.m. The event goes from 7 to 9 p.m. and the show runs until July 7.

A Fiddler's History of Canada takes place tonight at the Prince George Playhouse at 7:30 p.m. The Valley Youth Fiddlers presents a show featuring traditional fiddle tunes that came to Canada by immigrants from around the world. The show offers a look at how fiddle music across the nation has been influenced by different cultures. Tickets are at Studio 2880, Books and Company, and at the door. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and free for five and under.

Improv Ad Nauseum offers a troupe of experienced actors who gather together to play theatre games with a lot of audience participation Saturday night at 7 p.m. Find the funny at Twisted Cork, 101-1157 Fifth Ave. Tickets are at Studio 2880, 2880-15th Ave. or at the Twisted Cork.

The Little Prince steam train runs Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. at Fort George Park. The station is close to the Exploration Place museum, 333 Becott Place. The 24-inch gauge train runs along a half mile loop. Cost per trip is $2 per person.

Seniors' Day at Huble Homestead is Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Seniors can pre-register for a carefree day trip to Huble Homestead Historic Site. Registration is required for this event, because for $10, transportation will be provided from multiple points throughout the city, and participants will visit the site for a hot lunch, entertainment, tours, and other activities. Space is limited, and seats must be reserved in advance by calling 250-564-7033. Call for full pick up schedule.

Prince George Farmers' Market takes place every Saturday from 8:30 to 2 p.m. The market offers local products and fresh produce. It's located outdoors at the corner of George Street and Third Avenue, and both indoors and out at 1074 Sixth Avenue.
