The Ultimate Bridge Building Contest and Geo Rocks event will be held at noon at the Pine Centre Mall food court where bridges will be put through a stress test. There are three different categories with cash prizes for first, second and third. The event is presented by the Central Interior Branch of the Association of Professional Engineers an d Geoscientists of BC.

At 2:30 p.m. DIYs That Won't Cost the Planet with REAPS: a visual presentation to get you inspired for a greener, more creative gardening season. Zaffron Cuisine will be at Seedy Saturday with a concession for lunch. Bring your own mug, bowl and cutlery and help us green the event.
Building community movie screening of Within Reach goes Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Art Space, above Books & Co., 1685 Third Ave. Ecovillage Network of Canada and Kakwa Ecovillage Cooperative will co-host the event at ArtSpace in Books & Co, 1685 Third Ave. the moved will be followed by a discussion forum on intentional community/ecovillages. Admission is $5 at the door.
