Two Rivers Gallery and the City of Prince George, are asking for submissions for the 2013 Street Banner Project.
Artists and designers can submit as many as three entries for the juried competition.
Up to eight successful designs will be digitally printed on high quality outdoor banners for display throughout the city.
Themes could include active living and recreation, people and community, culture and nature.
The goal for the project is to add some colour and creative expression to the city, to reflect a positive image, inspire residents and showcase local artists.
The banners will be displayed on Third Avenue, along the Civic Centre Plaza road, in the Civic Centre Plaza, 15th Avenue, and CN Centre
Participants of winning designs will receive $500 for each design selected.
Submission deadline is Friday, January 25, 2013 by 5 p.m.
