Staub nominated for Juno - again

Former Prince George resident Randy Staub, was once again nominated for a Juno award in the Recording Engineer of the Year category. This year's winner was Eric Ratz for Sweet Mountain River, The Lion - Furiousity - Monster Truck.

Former Prince George resident Randy Staub, was once again nominated for a Juno award in the Recording Engineer of the Year category.

This year's winner was Eric Ratz for Sweet Mountain River, The Lion - Furiousity - Monster Truck.

Staub, a Kelly Road Secondary graduate, has been nominated nine times and won in 2002 for songs How You Remind Me and Too Bad by Nickelback.

This year Staub was nominated for Hollow, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here - Alice in Chains and Be My Baby, To Be Loved - Michael Bubl.

He's always busy mixing tracks for artists such as Nickelback, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Nickelback, U2, Cher, Celine Dion, 3 Doors Down, Avril Lavigne, Iggy Pop, H.I.M, Coheed and Cambria and Hinder.

Staub lives and works out of Vancouver, continuing to work with legendary artists as well as those just starting out like Jet Black Stare, Thousand Foot Krutch, The Almost and the reformed Alice In Chains.
