The Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society presents Photography and Spices, a program to promote racial harmony through food and art at the Prince George Public Library until Sept. 30.

Funded through the ministry of advanced education, innovation and technology and under the arts engagement umbrella, new immigrants as well as Canadian-born residents were invited to 10 celebrations and seven cooking demonstrations where they could enjoy each other's company as well as find out about different cultural backgrounds.

The photos were taken at the events by youth and adult participants.

After the display is closed at the library, look for it in local restaurants and schools until the end of the year.
