The Snowed In Comedy Tour returns with an additional late-night show to meet demand - the 10 p.m. show at the Prince George Playhouse is where fans of laughter want to be Saturday night.

The Four by Four tour sees four comedians, Arj Barker, Dan Quinn, Craig Campbell and Pete Johansson, on tour for the fourth time.

Campbell, a stream of consciousness talker, said this is probably the best gig he's got going.

In the past year, Campbell has been nominated Best Headliner at The Chortle Awards, supported Frankie Boyle on his 120-date nationwide tour, finished his own nationwide solo tour - Craig Campbell Live - and performed on Dave's One Night Stand, Russell Howard's Good News and Michael Macintyre's Comedy Roadshow.

The snowboarder takes to the slopes by day and hits the comedy clubs at night. He's lived in England for 15 years and travels to Canada with his buddies for a few weeks each winter, hitting all the hot spots - or rather, the cold spots - for the best powder.

"I quite enjoy talking to the audience and quite enjoy off-the-cuff humour, it suits my style much better I think, so I've taken on the MC role," said Campbell.

The comedians take turns closing the show, with the closing act going to the comedian whose hometown the troupe is performing. That's how easy going they are, said Campbell. And since the show is an independently run production, there's no outside interference.

Campbell said he loves partnering with talent like Arj Barker.

"I've been really, really lucky that I'm sidled with Arj Barker, who is quite a bit more famous than I am," Campbell said.

"I never thought I would be working with people now that I did shows with 20 years ago. It's really awesome. I would never have guessed that when I was having a good time doing shows in Edinburgh, having a laugh with who you're on a bill with, that 20 years later they would be ridiculously famous and still wanting to do a show with me."

Tickets for the show are at Ruins Boardshop, 1466 Third Avenue.
