Musicians from western Canada are asked to submit a song that could be featured as Kokanee's The Movie Out Here soundtrack.
Bands and solo artists can upload a video or MP3 of their upbeat, energetic tune until Sept. 3. Bands are asked to upload cover art or a photo of their band along with the song.
Once the song's uploaded, it's up to the band to rally their fans to vote.
In order to qualify for the movie, the band needs at least 75 votes.
From the qualifying songs, the Kokanee team will select the track that best fits the story.
The movie will highlight all things Western Canadian like mountains, local communities and their residents. The buddy-comedy features a group of guys who reunite in a skiing town for some slippery-slope adventures.
Filming ends in September.
