The Addam’s Family, a New Musical Comedy, is presented by the Prince George Secondary School drama club until Friday night at Vanier Hall.

The Addam’s Family, a new musical comedy, is presented by the Prince George Secondary School drama club today and tomorrow at Vanier Hall.

The show is based on the book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music and lyrics by Anders Lippa, orchestrations by Larry Hochman. The story is based on the characters created by Charles Addams.

The Addams Family musical comedy is an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare, according to Theatrical Rights Worldwide.

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

The musical comedy is rated PG.

Tickets are $10, seniors are $5 and doors open at 6:30 and curtain is at 7 p.m. with a matinee Thursday at 1 p.m.
