The Prince George Idol 2012 finalists showcase their musical talent Saturday at the Prince George Playhouse at 7:30 p.m.
It started with 31 contestants and there's eight left to sing two songs each.
Brooklyn Derksen, Caitlyn Macaulay, Charles Amos, David Baycroft, Jaymie Walker, Monica Tsang, Paige Marriott, and Vanessa Wittstruck are vying for top four spots that get prizes donated by community organizations supporting these emerging local singers.
Tickets are $12 each, $10 for 10 or more. Advance tickets are at Studio 2880, 2880-15th Avenue or by calling 250-563-2880.
