Lauren Mann has expanded her entertainment value with the addition of the Fairly Odd Folk. Fans can catch the new group at Art Space Thursday where they present their debut record, Over Land and Sea.

"It's kind of gone away from the solo singer songwriter thing," said Mann. "We have our full band together on this tour and we've been practicing a lot, which is a good thing. We're all really good friends so it's cool to have a dedicated band and we're really gelling."

During the From Here to There tour, fans can download three free songs from the new album. The group performs old favourites and some new tunes during the show, Mann said.

"One of the best moments during any show is when we see people in the audience singing along - that's just the best!" he said.

Special guests include local performers Jamie Bell and Derek Joyce.

Show is at 7 p.m., tickets are $10 at Books & Co., 1685 Third Avenue or at the door.
