Kitimat’s Snotty Nose Rez Kids have made the list of the 100 best songs of 2023 compiled by the editors of Apple Music Canada.
“I Got Paid Today” by the Indigenous hip hop duo from northwestern B.C. made a list that includes big names like Taylor Swift, Drake, Morgan Wallen and Metallica.
They last performed in Prince George in 2020 at Vanier Hall during Coldsnap.

As for the most played songs in Canada on Apple Music in 2023 (November 1, 2022 to October 31, 2023), Wallen took the No. 1 spot on the top 100 with “Last Night.” Wallen easily topped Swift for listens on Apple Music in Canada this year, with eight songs in the top 20 alone and 17 songs in the top 100.
