Studio 2880 is showcasing the work of local artist Micheline Snively. Titled "Scattered Views," this exhibition opening will take place on Nov. 22, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Studio 2880, located at 2880 15th Ave.

"Scattered Views" is a collection of paintings that beautifully capture the lakes near Mackenzie.

These striking artworks were created over a three-year period as Snively embarked on a profound personal journey of recovery from a head injury. Each piece represents a chronology of her rediscovery of these scenic places, as well as the regaining of mobility and growth in her burgeoning career as a visual artist.

As Snively's artistic journey unfolded, her purpose evolved, transforming her into an artist dedicated to her craft.

This art exhibit not only celebrates Snively's remarkable recovery but also serves as an inspiration to all who face challenges in life.

Studio 2880 says that through her paintings, she showcases the power of art to heal and transform, inviting viewers to join her on a visual exploration of rediscovery and growth.

The opening of the exhibit will feature an enchanting evening of art, conversation, and celebration with the artist in the Feature Gallery.

Her exhibit will be on display through to the new year.
