The call is out for singer-actors 15 years and up to try out Monday April 7 and Wednesday April 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Prince George Playhouse for Judy Russell's production of Monty Python's Spamalot.
"Bill and I grew up with the Monty Python TV series and movies," said Judy Russell.
"We raised our kids with the humour and craziness for which these shows are famous. Spamalot feels like a perfect fit for the Russell production clan."
Auditionees need to be prepared to sing 16 bars of their best vocals. Don't try to sing a piece from the musical, just what's most comfortable, although knowledge of the comedic nature of the show would be wise.
Callbacks for specific roles are chosen from this first audition process.
Be aware all chorus roles in Spamalot are physically demanding, with many opportunities to sing solo lines as well as singing in the ensemble. This is a very physical show, so wear sweatpants to audition.

Monty Pythons' Spamalot runs July 22 to August 3 at the Prince George Playhouse.
