Family and friends have organized a fundraiser for Karli Ralston, Miss Teen Prince George World 2013 to help offset expenses of making the trip to the Miss Teen Canada World pageant in Toronto in July.
The event offers dinner, live entertainment, silent and live auctions at the Coast Inn of the North June 29, with cocktails beginning at 6 p.m.
Ralston, 17, is a principal's list student at College Heights secondary, who enjoys Highland dancing, soccer and volunteering. Her platform as Miss Teen Prince George is to help raise awareness against bullying in the school environment, a subject close to her heart.
Tickets are $30 at the Coast.
