Prince George and regional performers had success at this year's provincial competitions for the stage arts.
Local musicians, singers, dancers and speech artists earned their way onto the podium during the Performing Arts BC showcase, held this year in Penticton. Some of the highlights included Melissa Glover becoming a double medallist, local actors sweeping the entire Open Shakespeare Duo category, and regional competitors sweeping the Junior Shakespeare category.
