During the Prince George Symphony Orchestra’s Spirit of the One Song Festival this month, Milan Basic, Maureen Faulkner and Keith Carlson will create art in the Rustad Galleria.

People are welcome to watch for free while the artists take their inspiration from songwriter Simon Cole’s The One Song.

The three artists will use the galleria as they would their own studios, coming and going throughout the day. Call ahead to see when the artists are in the gallery.

There is an informal evening planned for Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. where people can meet the artists, see the artwork The One Song has inspired and add their own artistic expression to the public canvas available for painting until the end of February.

The One Song tells us of a land where all things are bound together in harmony by a common musical thread. The Spirit of The One Song Festival is where the music, the dance, the dramatic, and the visual arts all unite, and where the community as a whole can hear the power of our one common song.
