Silly, spontaneous and mostly outrageous Improv Ad Nauseum is back for another season of laughs at Twisted Cork beginning Sept. 17 at 8 p.m.

"People can eat and drink and laugh and it's a really friendly environment," said Rynsewyn, artistic director of Serious Moonlight Productions. "We love it there."

The cast is constantly changing but the laugh quotient stays the same, Rynsewyn said.

"Everyone is really committed to it so that's really nice," he added. "Ten years we've been doing improv and it's looked different over the years. We try new things and using the input from the players we make changes as we go along."

It's kind of a competition where the points don't mean anything, he added.

"There is interactive fun with the audience so we still have the scorekeepers, the police officer and judges. We try to have a minimum of five players on stage. But we usually have a good hour and a half of fun. Just show up and laugh your face off."

Doors open at 7, show is at 8 p.m. These evenings of improv usually sell out so advance tickets are recommended. Tickets are available at Studio 2880, 1880 15th Avenue and at Twisted Cork, 1157 Fifth Avenue. Advance tickets are $10, at the door if there are any left are $12.50. There's always door prizes.
