Maureen Washington, well-known jazz musician and former Prince George resident, is nominated for best jazz and soul artist for the Black Canadian Awards.
"Im overwhelmingly honoured," said Washington. "Theyve asked if I would come and perform at the awards ceremony Saturday March 1, at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto - so I am!"
