Oh, What A Night!, a tribute to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, will bring it all back when the musical revue takes to the stage at Vanier Hall Sunday at 7 p.m.

The show stays true to the original recordings, which is especially appropriate for a tribute.

"This is such a great show, and you're going to love it," said George Solomon, who wrote the show, was in the original four and still performs in it. The show is so popular all over the world that there are 40 performers now.

"The music is so timeless, so popular, and people just love these songs, they are so catchy and tell a great little story and the music is number one," said Solomon. "The show is really funny, you've got four incredibly talented guys on stage who are triple-threat performers. They are singers, dancers and actors. You're getting a lot of comedy during the show and all the guys can dance. Every single number is fully choreographed by Paul Holmquist and the guys constantly rise to the occasion."

The show is suitable for all ages.

"There is no limit, there's no bad language, it's a very family-friendly show," said Solomon. "Bring your six year old and bring your 90-year-old grandmother."

There is a secret to the success of Frankie Valli's music.

"In two and a half to three minutes, the song told a great little story that somebody somewhere identified with. Some girl or some guy could say yes, that's how I felt when we broke up or yes, that's how I felt when I met him. Everybody can relate to these songs."

Solomon knew he had something special but was not prepared for the audience response.

"I did not know that people would embrace the show so wildly that people would be coming back to see it 30 and 40 times," said Solomon. "There are people in the audience sitting there doing all the moves with us and singing every word as we perform. I didn't know it was going to have that effect and we never get tired of it."

Tickets are at all Tickemaster outlets.
