Fans of dirty off-road vehicles might get excited to hear Four By Four - Direct From Las Vegas is coming to Prince George.
Their enthusiasm might need some reevaluation, though, when they learn it is less about muddy tires and more about the great vocal groups of pop music history.
This four-voice act will pay tribute to the music of The Beach Boys, The Bee Gees, Motown and The Beatles. This new musical theatre act was created and Vegas-tested by the same production company that mounted Oh What A Night (a Frankie Valli tribute show) that similarly earned star status in Las Vegas before going on a continental tour that included Prince George.
"Their performance will feature over 50 legendary songs from these great icons of pop music culture," said a statement issued by tour organizers. "The stars of Four By Four sing and dance their way through all of the greatest hits of these pop icons in a fully choreographed production. Informative and often humorous banter ties all of this extraordinary music together for an evening of feel good, raise-the-roof entertainment."
The event happens on Nov. 12 at Vanier Hall. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster (CN Centre box office).
