Flo Rida is flowing the beats into P.G.
He instantly becomes one of the biggest hiphop-urban acts to ever hustle into this region. Only Snoop Dogg and Akon can stand in the same spotlight.
Flo Rida has one of the most acclaimed track records in the genre. He has been a platinum frontman, struck oil as a collaborator and hit gold as a producer. Now he brings it here on his terms for one night at CN Centre.
"It is undeniable that Flo Rida makes popular music. Twenty-seven singles in which Flo Rida is the lead artist have charted since 2007, and he has guested on 24 more charting singles. He has made 52 hit songs," said a statement from the concert organizers.
The Flo Rida event is a presentation of Hell Yeah Prince George and Cariboo Brewing.
"It will be a feel good party with Flo Rida in the house," they said in a joint statement. "He is known for releasing a string of mega-hits, such as his 2008 breakout single Low, which was number one for 10 weeks in the United States and broke the record for digital download sales at the time of its release. Flo Rida has sold over 80 million digital singles worldwide."
Some of his top tracks include Right Round, Club Can't Handle Me, Good Feeling, Wild Ones, Whistle, I Cry, G.D.F.R., and My House, among others.
Flo Rida will be at CN Centre on July 20. Tickets go on sale Friday at CN Centre Box Office or online/charge-by-phone via Ticketmaster.
Ticket categories are $59.50, $69.50 and $79.50 (plus service charges). Floor tickets are reserved for those aged 19 and older, bleacher seating is available for all ages.
